Shipping & Delivery

Last updated: 28 June 2026

Wider Cable ships Ethernet and USB cables to distributors, wholesalers, system integrators and OEM buyers worldwide. We manufacture and dispatch from our own facilities in Dongguan, China and Hưng Yên, Vietnam — giving buyers a China+1 sourcing option. This page explains how delivery works for quote-based orders. The commercial terms for any order are confirmed in your quotation.

Where we ship

We ship internationally, including across North America, Europe, and the rest of the world. If you are unsure whether we can deliver to your country, ask our sales team — we will confirm the options and any restrictions before you order.

Lead time and dispatch

Every order is made to your specification — category, length, colour, shielding, jacket, and any OEM or branding — and to your volume. For that reason, production lead time and dispatch dates are confirmed in your quotation or proforma invoice, not fixed on this page. Stock items typically ship faster than custom or OEM runs. Your sales contact will give you a realistic timeline before you confirm the order.

Shipping methods and freight

We arrange the method that suits the order size and your deadline — courier or express for samples and small parcels, and air or sea freight for bulk shipments. The agreed delivery terms (Incoterms — for example EXW, FOB, CIF or DAP) decide who arranges and pays for each leg of transport. These terms are set out in your quotation.

Customs, duties and taxes

For international shipments, import duties, customs clearance fees and local taxes depend on your destination country and the agreed Incoterms — depending on the terms, these may be your responsibility as the importer. We provide the commercial documentation (invoice, packing list, and certificates of origin or compliance where applicable) needed for customs clearance. See also Payments & Ordering.

Tracking your shipment

Once your order is dispatched, your sales contact provides the carrier and tracking details by email. We do not operate online customer accounts in this version of the site, so tracking is handled directly through your assigned contact.

Delivery details and accuracy

Please make sure the delivery address, company name, contact person and any customs or tax registration numbers you give us are complete and correct. Incorrect or incomplete details can delay customs clearance or delivery and may incur additional charges, which we would confirm with you first.

Delays, damage or shortage

We work with established carriers, but customs clearance and courier conditions can occasionally cause delays outside our control. If your shipment is delayed, or if it arrives damaged or short, contact your sales team promptly so we can investigate with the carrier and put it right. Please keep the packaging and photograph any damage to support a claim.
